Ysgol Glan Gele has a lunchtime gardening club and after school sessions with Mrs Roberts. During these sessions the children take part in maintenance, seed sowing, watering and harvesting as well as sampling the produce. Children are encouraged to investigate the growing process of a variety of food and flowers, identifying the various stages. They learn to use real gardening tool safely and develop a respect for the outdoor environment. The produce grown in our garden is then handed over to the school kitchen for Auntie Sue to use.  The herb garden is used by Auntie Sue during cookery club.
