Homework
The pupils are all given a school reading bag ( paid for by the PTA) and take their reading book and personal record book home every night.
Parents are encouraged to hear their child read and add a comment in the personal record book.
In Year 1 and 2 children may also be given spellings to learn, learning words for class assemblies. We have recently introduced 'learning logs'. The work is set related to activites carried out in school. Children can record their work in their own style eg through photos, writing, pictures etc.
