Once a year we celebrate this special day which is an international event.  This is usually during October around Harvest time, so it lends itself to lots of Harvest related learning activities.  We feel this is a really valuable experience for our pupils and the feedback from our Grandparents has been 100% positive. 

We invite Grandparents in during the Autumn Term to take part in arts, crafts, cooking and games with their grandchildren.  Feedback has shown that these sessions have been especially valued, particularly by working parents who cannot attend parent partner events and attendance is usually high.
