The Koalas Class is a Reception class.
We currently have 22 pupils in the class with Mrs James as the class teacher and Mrs Stanley as the teaching assisstant. We have a lovely classroom with a safe and secure outdoor learning area. We like to have lots of fun and learn a range of new skills every day.
School starts at 8:45am so please make sure you arrive at school on time! Pick up time is at 3:15pm.

Marvellous Me
Over the next 8 weeks, we will be learning about ourselves and others. Our topic is ‘Marvellous Me’. The children will have lots of opportunities to discuss their personal experiences, they will learn about the importance of rules and responsibilities; this will include an introduction to the Rights of the Child. At the beginning of the topic, they will focus on settling into their Reception classes, looking at how to use the different areas and the routines of the day. Then we will focus on the big questions which will incorporate learning about themselves their family, and what makes them special. The children will be re-introduced to the Brain Buddies stories and the Four Purpose Dragons.
We will also be learning about Autumn and seasonal changes and celebrating Harvest.
