Diggerland is an exciting area within our school grounds, where the children can do all sorts of construction work. The site is full of sand and is a place where they can use real, but size appropriate, tools and diggers to build, dig and experiment. There is also access to water and pipes as well as other construction materials. The children are able to access Diggerland all year and are encouraged to chose the appropriate clothing to suit the weather. Examples of activities which may be develop when accessing Diggerland are sandcastle building, digging, moat building and lots more constructive creations!
